Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 in question after Eagles concert announced for Sphere
The Eagles are playing Sphere the night Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 was supposedly taking place there.
Will Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao 2 happen? That remains to be seen.
But if it does, it won't be taking place Sept. 19 at Sphere in Las Vegas. According to a recent announcement, legendary American rock band The Eagles will instead play the venue that day.
According to ESPN , representatives for Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Netflix have not responded to inquiries about the status of the event. The rematch between the two all-time boxing legends was announced in February and came as a surprise to many. However, public disagreement between the two camps ensued as Mayweather claimed the fight, not professional.
