Stroud remains perhaps one of the most interesting storylines to follow this offseason. With the franchise picking up Stroud's fifth-year option, they don't have to do anything regarding a long-term deal for the next two seasons if they really want to. But if Stroud doesn't perform as many expect, a conversation might have to be had in the building.
And for CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan, he wonders if Stroud will get that extension. "After bursting onto the scene as a rookie, it seemed as if Stroud was destined to become the highest-paid player in the league whenever he arrived at this juncture,” Sullivan wrote . “It was the type of performance that had folks second-guessing whether or not he's a franchise centerpiece.
