Frustration with QB Aaron Rodgers by Steelers fans is completely justified for 1 reason
Steelers fans continue to wait for Aaron Rodgers' decision and they are rightfully getting tired of him leading the team on.
The Steelers are less than two weeks until the start of OTAs and as of now, no one knows if quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be present. Our best guess is until workouts are mandatory, Rodgers will continue to string the Steelers along before riding in on his white horse to save the day. This ongoing whoopla has worn thin with many fans and members of the media and there has been plenty of vocal criticism of not just Rodgers for doing this but for the Steelers for putting up with it.
And frankly, there's one good reason all of this criticism is fair and warranted. Rodgers didn't help last season. Yes, the Steelers won the AFC North, but it wasn't as if Rodgers carried the team.
He threw for 207. 6 yards per game. This was the worst in his career.
He went 10-6 as a starter but got blown out in the playoffs when Rodgers threw for 180 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. If this is the Rodgers the Steelers are getting in 2026, what is the team waiting for? With Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Drew Allar on the roster, it's not unreasonable to move forward with those three if Rodgers is going to bring the same level of production.
