Defensive tackle DJ Reader is officially moving on from the Detroit Lions, inking a free agency deal with the New York Giants.

Defensive tackle DJ Reader is officially moving on from the Detroit Lions . Jordan Schultz was first to report that Reader was signing with the New York Giants . In his two seasons with the Lions , Reader registered 51 tackles, 12 quarterback hits, four tackles for loss, three sacks and one pass defended.

Reader played in and started all 17 games last season and 32 across his two seasons with the Lions. The 6-foot-3, 330-pound defensive tackle totaled 583 defensive snaps. BREAKING: The # Giants are signing former #Lions DT DJ Reader, per sources.
