Asked what the key to Arsenal’s success is, he responded: “I think through togetherness. I’ve always said that this club is more than a club, it’s a family and we have each other’s backs. “When someone doesn’t have a good day, another one is making up for that, so I think that togetherness and that willingness to help each other has got us to where we are right now and I think you can see it on the pitch, everybody is fighting for everyone and it makes that difference.
” Raya also hailed the impact of the Arsenal fans for the atmosphere they created at the Emirates Stadium. “It gave us the extra energy and motivation to go into the game today with that fire in our bellies to make those people happy and proud of us, and I think we certainly did,” he said.
