This is just an idea, pure speculation as the New Orleans Saints ' free agent lingers on the open market, potentially pondering retirement but also possibly looking for a new NFL home. It's not clear what Hill wants to do with his future, and he may be in no rush, but he'd fill a major need for the Panthers. Bryce Young, the Panthers' starting QB, has one obvious flaw: He can't do anything in the short-yardage run game.
The Panthers don't use the tush push, for example, because Young is much too small for it. Young can scramble in space, but he isn't going to line up in shotgun or under center and power forward for a few yards. Guess who can do that?
