UH Softball's McGaughey Earns Big West Player of the Week Honors

Jamie McGaughey, a third baseman for University of Hawaii (UH), has been named the Field Player of the Week by the Big West Conference. The junior softball player hit an impressive . 600 average over her weekend series, scoring six runs, driving in four, and registering three home runs and one double.
In addition to McGaugheyโs achievements, Lexie Tilton from Hawaii Hilo earned Defensive Player of the Year honors while teammate Janessa Santos was selected as a pitcher for the All-Pacific West Conference softball teams. The Rainbow Wahine faces Chaminade in the Big West Championship tournament next Thursday.
