Badgers in Top 5 for Top 40 recruit in 2027 class, decision coming Wednesday
The Badgers are looking for their first commit in the 2027 class.

Among them is top-40 senior Donovan Davis, who is considered a high four-star recruit in the class. Davis, a 6โ7, 200-pound forward from Kaukana, Wisconsin, has steadily risen in the 2027 class, and the Badgers have fought hard to be in the mix. They were named in Davisโs top 5 last week, alongside Iowa State, Iowa, Nebraska, and Marquette.
Currently, Wisconsin doesnโt have a commitment in the Class of 2027. Davis is set to announce his decision on Wednesday. Davis is currently considered the No.
7 power forward in the country and the No. 2 player in the state of Wisconsin behind only Dooney Johnson, a five-star guard who committed to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Davis had taken official visits to all five of his contenders last month.
