After the Cincinnati Bengals added Bryan Cook, Boye Mafe, Jonathan Allen, and Dexter Lawrence, it became clear that they mean business.
Speaking from the Met Gala, the star QB shared his feelings with Vanity Fair. “I’m really excited about the moves we made this offseason,” Burrow said in an interview with Vanity Fair . “We need to get better, so it was exciting to see the initiative from everybody in the organization to realize that we’re in this exciting stage, we’re in our primes playing great football, finding guys like Dexter and Bryan Cook and [Jacob] Bayer, to really solidify that defense so the young guys can also kind of rise up.
” The Bengals’ signal caller is optimistic that this offseason will put Cincinnati back in contention. “We’re really going to try to achieve what we want to achieve,” Burrow said. Of course, in addition to those veteran defenders mentioned, the Bengals added Cashius Howell and others in the Draft.
