DeAndre Hopkins wants to join Steelers' AFC North rival
The AFC North division is continuing to heat up, as DeAndre Hopkins has made it clear he wants to play for one of the Steelers' biggest rivals.
One of the greatest playmakers of his generation ā All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins ā wants to play for an AFC North rival of the Pittsburgh Steelers . Following his 2025 stint with the Baltimore Ravens , Hopkins is interested in catching passes from another talented AFC North signal-caller: Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow . "I gotta go with Joe Burrow," Hopkins told Sports Illustrated when asked which quarterback he wants to play with.
"I think Joe is one of the best. I love his game, his toughness. He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career, and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help.

While he undoubtedly took a step back with the Ravens in 2025, many blamed his lack of usage and offensive fit. As terrifying as facing off against Hopkins, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins would be for any opposing defense, the Steelers ' completely revamped secondary could be up for the challenge.
