Jack Nicklaus is adding to his golf course empire with a new project in Palm Beach County. NOKOSI is the first development from a newly formed group led by Gary Nicklaus and the Nicklaus family alongside TWG Global, signaling a new phase of club development for the family. The project will be on the site of the former Sherbrooke Golf & Country Club in suburban Lake Worth Beach.
Sherbrooke closed in 2016. NOKOSI is a private, multi-generational club that transforms the former club into a modern golf and wellness destination. Construction on the golf course has started and play is scheduled to start late 2026.
Clubhouse and amenity construction is scheduled to begin in fall of 2026. Nicklaus, 86, is taking extra pride in this project because of its proximity to his home. Jack and Barbara Nicklaus moved to Palm Beach County in 1966.
