In his Game 7 postgame press conference, Jaylen Brown made a comment about Joel Embiid "flopping around. " He doubled down during a livestream on Sunday, saying Embiid flops and that flopping has ruined the league. His comments have drawn criticism, and Draymond Green chimed in on "The Draymond Green Show" on Monday.

"As you all know, (I am) not a huge fan of calling a guy out once you've lost. I just don't love that, because it comes off as excuse-making. A lot of people are trying to say, 'Aw man, Jaylen Brown's making an excuse.

' When you, in fact, could be telling the dead honest truth, but because you lost, people are always going to say, 'There's the excuse,' and they're going to make out what you're saying to be an excuse, so it ultimately doesn't hold weight. " Green is a four-time NBA champion and is one of the most outspoken players in the league. Green did acknowledge that Brown has a point when it comes to Embiid.

He does take advantage of the whistle and tries to draw calls. However, the Celtics still managed to win a game when Embiid was playing. Green may have preferred that Brown make his comments before the Celtics were eliminated.
