ICC T20I rankings: India retain no. 1 spot - where are Asian neighbours Pakistan and Sri Lanka?
India retained the No. 1 spot in the ICC T20I rankings with 275 points after winning a record third T20 World Cup title. England remained second and Australia third.
Bangladesh climbed to eighth while Sri Lanka slipped to ninth. The USA rose to 13th place. ICC also reduced ranked teams from 102 to 98 after four nations failed eligibility criteria.
India continue to lead the ICC menโs T20I rankings, staying ahead of England and Australia in the latest update released on Tuesday. The Indian team recently made history by winning their third T20 World Cup title in March and becoming the first side to defend the trophy successfully. The tournament was jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
โThe latest rankings rate all matches played since May 2025 at 100 per cent and those of the previous two years at 50 per cent,โ the ICC said on its website. India currently have 275 rating points. England are second with 262 points, while Australia are close behind in third with 258.
