There has been some speculation that the Rockets could pivot and look to move on from Durant over the offseason. However, it doesn't seem like that will be the case. Kevin Durant expected to remain with Rockets moving forward According to a recent report from Ramona Shelburne and Tim MacMahon of ESPN, Durant is expected to remain with the Rockets moving forward, as is head coach Ime Udoka.
Durant has two years remaining on his current contract, including a $46 player option for the 20227-28 season.
