With six consecutive defeats, the franchise remains rooted to the bottom of the points table, and their playoff hopes are hanging by the thinnest of threads. After nine matches, LSG have just two wins and four points.
Their last victory came nearly a month ago — back-to-back wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in early April. Since then, it has been a steep and sustained decline, with defeats piling up and confidence visibly draining from the squad.
