The 21-year-old left the Red Sox's 5-4 win over the Detroit Tigers in the second inning on Monday after suffering a hand/wrist injury and is flying back to Boston on Tuesday to see a specialist. Anthony, who recently missed four straight games with a back injury, will "likely" undergo an MRI as well. MassLive.
com's Chris Cotillo reported Monday night that the "initial read" on Anthony's injury was "generally positive. " "Still, thereโs enough concern that Anthony will return home Tuesday for further testing," Cotillo wrote.
