But really, they're the talk much further than that, including at first base during Monday night's Philadelphia Phillies and Miami Marlins MLB game. That's in part because of Joe Mack. Mack attended Williamsville East High School in the Buffalo area, and so when he reached base for the first time during his MLB debut on Monday night, Phillies star Bryce Harper had to bring up the Sabres.
"He asked me about my family and if I have some people here, very nice guy," Mack told reporters postgame Monday . "He asked me about the Sabres and the Buffalo Bills, had a little chat about that, too. It was pretty cool.
