New Denver Broncos tight end Justin Joly has the potential to make an immediate impact in the offense in 2026. Joly, a fifth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, was as reliable as they come following four years at UConn and NC State. In 49 career games with the Huskies and Wolfpack, Joly caught 166 passes for 1,978 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Joly led the Huskies in receptions in 2023 in receptions (58) and yards (578). Joly had a great year in 2025 as he was named first-team All-ACC, also leading the Wolfpack in receptions (49). Joly's hands were on full display, as he only dropped one pass in 50 catchable targets last season.

Joly was seen all over the field, making acrobatic catches and even scoring a touchdown while injured . In the tape, Joly was a tough player to bring down, often drawing several defenders to get him on the ground. He was also brilliant when it came to contested catches, often winning the battle against opponents.

Not the freakiest athlete, but offers a large catch radius with excellent body control and soft hands along with some impressive contested catch ability.
