Could Bryce Young be the QB of the future for the Panthers?
The Panthers seem to have some faith in keeping their current quarterback around long-term.
The future is looking bright for Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. Young was the first overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft and has spent his first three seasons in the league building himself from an inexperienced rookie to a playoff-caliber starter. This past season, he led the Panthers to an 8-8 record as a starter (missing one game due to injury) and helped the Panthers advance to the NFL Playoffs for the first time since he joined the franchise.
And according to Carolina GM Dan Morgan, the Panthers are seriously considering an extension. "I think you see him just getting better and better every single year," Morgan told SiriusXM NFL Radio . "Understanding the offense, heโs such a good processor, and a guy thatโs just a pleasure to have around the building every day.
As you see him mature, you see him become a better leader every single year. And the operationโs getting faster every year. So we really feel like the arrow is up with Bryce.
