Oklahoma Sooners offer 2028 quarterback out of Florida
The Oklahoma Sooners offered a playmaking quarterback out of Florida in the 2028 recruiting cycle.
The Oklahoma Sooners have their quarterback situation settled for the next few years with John Mateer set to start in 2026, followed by a quarterback competition between Whitt Newbauer and 2026 signee Bowe Bentley for the job in 2027. Expected to join the roster next January is four-star quarterback Jamison Roberts out of Alabama. For 2028, the Sooners have their eyes on a prospect out of Florida.
On Monday evening, the Sooners issued an offer to 2028 three-star quarterback Brady Quinn. Quinn is of no relation to the former Notre Dame quarterback of the same name. The 2028 prospect is simply a gamer.
In his highlights, there are a number of incredible improvisational moments where he escapes pressure to make a throw downfield. Beyond the playmaking ability, Quinn displays good arm strength and accuracy to throw to all levels of the passing game. He has a nice deep ball and displays really good placement on throws to the corner of the end zone.
Quinn has the athleticism to make plays as a runner with enough speed to run away from the defense and good lateral agility to make defenders miss in the open field. According to 247Sports, Quinn has 17 Power Four offers. In addition to the Sooners, he's been offered by notable programs like Indiana, Florida, Florida State , Ole Miss , South Carolina, Arkansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
