Here are the choices for the week of May 4-8: Austin Alcantara, boys track and field, Redwood: Alcantara won the triple jump individual title at the 2026 Don Kavadas Tulare County Championships. Brynne Amundson, girls track and field, Redwood: Amundson captured the long jump and triple jump individual crowns at the Don Kavadas Tulare County Championships.

Eddie Bravo, baseball, Mission Oak: Bravo blasted a double and triple and finished with five RBIs to lead the Hawks to a West Yosemite League win against Dinuba. Matthew Corral, baseball, Tulare Western: Corral registered three RBIs and tossed a complete game to help the Mustangs outlast the Hawks in a WYL victory. Corral also added two runs and hurled five strikeouts.

Carson Garcia, baseball, Redwood: Garcia went 2-for 3 with a run, two RBIs, and a triple in a 6-5 victory versus Golden West. Shondel Hogan, boys track and field, Central Valley Christian : Hogan was the 100-meter champion at this season's Don Kavadas Tulare County Championships. Seth Fults, baseball, El Diamante: Fults hit a solo home run as the Miners beat Porterville 3-1.
