If the Cleveland Browns ever move on from Shedeur Sanders, there will be a few teams around the NFL to watch out for.
Sanders has yet to prove he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL, but that doesn't mean he won't eventually do so if given another opportunity. Whether that's in Cleveland next season or if he were to be traded and succeed in another system, Sanders definitely has the confidence to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, and that's a lot of the battle. Recently proposing trades that would send Sanders to a new team, a FanSided writer came up with a deal that would send him to the Pittsburgh Steelers .
“The Steelers have been riding a roller coaster when it comes to the quarterback position. If Aaron Rodgers comes back, he'd be the first quarterback to start consecutive seasons for this franchise since Kenny Pickett did so in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Sanders could very well provide them with a shot at long-term stability.
Assuming Rodgers comes back this year, Sanders learning behind him could be the best thing for him,” Wynston Wilcox of FanSided wrote . The Steelers are an interesting name to monitor in a situation like this for a few different reasons. Not only has Pittsburgh been searching for a quarterback over the past few years, trying to bring in some bridge guys like Aaron Rodgers, but there's obviously a big rivalry between Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
