NORTH AUGUSTA, Sc. (WJBF)- North Augusta took on Aiken in the 4A baseball playoffs. It was game one and both teams are familiar with each other.
They played each other earlier this season and tied the series one to one. But it wasn’t just that game they were familiar with each other from. In last year’s game three, the Yellow Jackets and Hornets met face to face.
So both teams new what was at stake today, but North Augusta stepped up to the plate and won their first playoff matchup in their new stadium. “So many emotions right now. It’s just a, you know, first ever home game.
