‘Six finals in a row is crazy’ – Aitana Bonmati hails ‘absolutely not normal’ Barcelona

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner spoke after the game and tried to put into words just how special Pere Romeu’s side are.

“I am really happy for the team,” she said. “They have had a spectacular season and all that is left is to put the cherry on top of the cake. “Six finals in a row is crazy.

I think we have normalised something that is absolutely not normal. It says everything about the ambition and character of this team. “Players and seasons come and go, but we’re still there, keeping the bar high and always wanting to be in the Champions League final.

” Barca now go on to play OL Lyonnes in the final on May 23rd in what promises to be a tough game, but Aitana is feeling confident. “There is not much I can say about Lyonnes to be honest,” Bonmatí said. “They are Champions League history.
