Stroud has been a big topic of discussion this offseason, as the playoff loss left a lasting impression on the NFL media. With Stroud again having a down season that ended with the playoff loss and four first-half interceptions, some think the franchise should move on from the young quarterback. But the franchise exercised Stroud's fifth-year option, meaning they have two full seasons of evaluations before they have to commit long-term to C.
J. However, if fans were thinking that the Texans might be of the thought that Stroud isn't their long-term guy at the position, well, owner Cal McNair just ended that. "Well, as you know, we'll leave that up with (general manager) Nick (Caserio), and those communications are behind the scenes," McNair said via KPRC2 .
