FSU baseball player named ACC Pitcher of the Week
Florida State baseball's Wes Mendes has been named the ACC Pitcher of the Week after a strong four-game stretch.
The No. 12 Florida State baseball team has won four games in a row, improving to 33-14 overall and 15-9 in ACC play. They remain in a strong position to make the NCAA regionals and beyond.
As a result of his strong performance, Wes Mendes has been named the ACC Pitcher of the Week by the conference . This was an exceptional week for him, with an undefeated record on the mound and taking down an ACC foe in Pittsburgh. He allowed just five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts on 105 pitches.
