OU basketball lands Yaak Yaak in transfer portal from Oregon State
Oklahoma men's basketball added 6-foot-11 center Yaak Yaak from Oregon State via the transfer portal, bolstering its frontcourt, according to On3.
NORMAN — Oklahoma men's basketball started the week by landing another transfer portal big. Yaak Yaak, a 6-foot-11, 230-pound center, has signed with the Sooners, according to On3's Pete Nakos . Yaak started nine of the 25 games he appeared in this past season for Oregon State, averaging 6.
6 points and 2. 2 rebounds over 15. 1 minutes per game.
Yaak also shot 51% from the field. Yaak is the second center OU has added via the transfer portal. The Sooners also secured former G-League big Akoldah Gak.
Gak is listed at 6-foot-11, 225 pounds. OU saw Mohamed Wague run out of eligibility and Kuol Atak depart. Atak transferred to Virginia Tech.
