El Karouani had scored two goals and provided 12 assists for Utrecht in 69 games.
This season, in 46 games, the winger has provided an incredible 16 assists, with three goals. El Karouani has provided 10 of these assists in the Eredivisie, which puts him third overall in the league. The other six came during the sides 14 Europa League games.
