Colorado football 2026 offensive line depth chart prediction
Colorado returns three starters and adds two transfers to protect QB Julian Lewis in 2026. Here's our projected Week 1 offensive line grouping.
The Colorado Buffaloes have rebuilt their offensive line through the transfer portal the previous two offseasons, but entering 2026, there seems to be more continuity. Three starters are projected to be back in the fold, likely along with two transfers, which hopefully makes a five-man group that can hold up against pressure and keep star quarterback Julian Lewis upright. With that in mind, here is our Buffaloes Wire prediction for Colorado's offensive line for Week 1 of the 2026 season.
LT: Bo Hughley Hughley transferred in from Georgia after playing 10 games for the Bulldogs from 2023-25. He only started in three games, so this is a bit of a projection on my part, but I do think he wins the starting left tackle spot over Larry Johnson. LG: Yahya Attia Attia has been complimented by plenty of coaches and players over the past year.
He started four games during the 2025 season, including a few starts at left guard. He earned Pro Football Focus Big 12 LG of the Week in Week 11. He seems the surest thing to pencil in at this point in the spring.
C: Demetrius Hunter Hunter was brought in for one reason: to play center. In four seasons at Houston (2022-25), he started 28 games with 25 coming at center. Hunter has experience starting at the position in the Big 12 and has only allowed two sacks in the past two seasons.
