Thompson, 28, entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft.
He threw for 721 yards, a score and three interceptions through the first 10 appearances of his career. The Dolphins waived Thompson in 2024, but later signed him to their practice squad. He signed a futures contract last off-season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but spent almost the entire campaign on injured reserve.
He will enter a Ravens quarterbacks room that includes starter Lamar Jakson and backups Tyler Huntley, Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano. The Ravens held rookie minicamp Friday and Saturday. They will start organized team activities May 18.
Ravens mandatory minicamp will be June 9 and 10. Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson threw one touchdown pass over the first 10 appearances of his NFL career. File Photo by Thom Baur/UPI
