Former Steelers QB signs with Ravens

The former Steelers QB is signing with the Ravens.

(Photo by Joe Sargent/Getty Images) | Getty Images Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson is signing with the Baltimore Ravens, per Ian Rapoport. Thompson signed with the Steelers in January, 2025 on a futures contract.

He had a tremendous showing in the preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars going 20-of-28 for 233 yards and three touchdowns. Prior to joining the Steelers, Thompson was a seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins out of Kansas State in the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in 11 games with the Dolphins, including a playoff start in relief of Tua Tagovailoa against the Buffalo Bills.
