It’ll be the second international trip in as many seasons for Indiana men’s basketball under head coach Darian DeVries.

It gave the all-new team a few more practices on top of exhibition games.
It seems DeVries thought it was a good idea, because he’s set for another this summer after the NCAA passed a rule allowing programs to embark on an international trip each year. Indiana, per multiple reports , is planning on another foreign tour ahead of its next season. Unlike last summer, Indiana will leave the United States and make for Peru, giving another transfer-laden team a few more practices and the opportunity to compete in the FISU America games in Lima.
The FISU America Games is a multi-sport event held every two years between collegiate athletes from the Americas as a leadup to the FISU World University Games, a larger scale event between collegiate athletes from around the world. Indiana men’s basketball would be representing the United States in this event. Join the conversation!
