They're undergoing a bit of a youth movement, beginning with No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza but going well beyond him. And that, in part, leads to a parting of ways with some of the old guard.
One of those players is Charles Snowden, who has started 18 games for the Raiders across the past two seasons. Vegas announced on Monday that Snowden has been waived. MORE: Shilo Sanders under fire for telling female reporter to 'make a sandwich' He's one of four players who were cut loose.
The others were offensive guards McClendon Curtis and Layden Robinson, and tight end Matt Lauter. Snowden had played the most for the Raiders, and in his 31 overall games with Las Vegas, he had 67 tackles, including 4. 5 sacks.
