Tyasha Harris returned to the city where she won three state championships. She has noticeable arm tattoos and explained what they meant.

INDIANAPOLIS โ€” Every tattoo has a story and newly acquired Indiana Fever guard Tyasha Harris shared the backstory behind the ink on her arms ahead of practice Monday morning. Harris, a three-time state champion with Heritage Christian and 2016 Indiana Miss Basketball finalist, was asked by Fever radio announcer John Nolan about the "Indiana" tattoo on her right arm, which the Fever social media team posted a photo of during Saturday's preseason game vs. the Nigeria Women's National Team.

"This is where I'm from. This is home for me," Harris smiled. "I just wanted to staple that and put that on me.
