And the option mentioned came out on top with 47% of the preference....

And the option mentioned came out on top with 47% of the preference. Nubank Arena and Parque Nubank were the other possibilities. The name change resulted from the transfer of the arena’s naming rights.
In April, WTorre reached an agreement with the digital bank to take over from Allianz, which had held the name of Palmeiras’ home stadium since 2014. The contract between the parties runs until 2044, when the surface rights deed that gives the construction company the possibility to commercially exploit the site will expire. Palmeiras will have management and control of the stadium starting the following year.
