When will Tennessee Titans schedule be released for 2026 NFL season?
The NFL schedule almost always comes out in the second week of May. Why hasn't a date been announced, and when will Titans schedule 2026 be ready?
It's the first week of May, and Tennessee Titans fans still don't know when the NFL will announce the team's schedule for 2026. Dating back to 2020, NFL schedules have customarily been released at some point in the second week of May , and in 2025 the league used the forum of the NFL draft to publicize the release date of that year's schedule. No such declaration has been made this year, but that's not necessarily any indication that there's a delay.
In 2023 and 2024, the NFL didn't announce their schedule release date until the week of the event. Speaking on a Buffalo-based podcast prior to the draft, NFL vice president of broadcast planning Mike North said there's no true advantage to releasing the schedule on May 12-14 versus doing so on May 19-21. Interest should be fairly high in the Titans' schedule for 2026 coming off a 2025 season where the team didn't play a single game in primetime.
With quarterback Cam Ward heading into Year 2, coach Robert Saleh leading the team in his first season and the franchise's slew of free agent acquisitions, not to mention top-five pick Carnell Tate, it'll be intriguing to see if the Titans are deemed worthy of a "Monday Night Football" or "Thursday Night Football" game in 2026.
