Kyle Busch could face a NASCAR penalty after a late wreck with John Hunter Nemechek at Texas Motor Speedway in 2026.

Kyle Busch and John Hunter Nemechek's wreck is the main storyline following the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. With two laps to go, Busch went up the track coming off Turn 2, expecting Nemechek to be higher, causing them to hit the wall. Then, the No.

8 car went right up the track entering Turn 3, wrecking the No. 42 car without a caution. The first incident won't cause any problems; however, the same can't be said for the second.

NASCAR will review the incident between Busch and Nemechek at Texas to determine if any penalties need to be handed out. If Busch purposely wrecked Nemechek in Turn 3, NASCAR could give the Richard Childress Racing driver a penalty this week.
