St. John's Charli Neumann earns District 8-1A MVP for the second year, hitting .606 with 17 homers and pitching.

District 8-1A champion St. John's triumphant softball season brought the Lady Eagles numerous honors along the way, including a prestigious honor for one of the most versatile players in the state. Senior Charli Neumann, who pitched and worked infield occasionally at first or second base, was named Most Valuable Player for the second consecutive year by the district coaches.

“It feels super rewarding,” she said. “Earning District MVP once is special, but doing it two years in a row just makes me thing about how much hard work, time and dedication has gone into getting here. ” In District 8-1A action, she hit 1.
