Georgia Bulldogs cornerback recruiting target Jerry Outhouse originally committed to Georgia on March 6 prior to reopening his recruitment.

Former Georgia Bulldogs commit Jerry Outhouse has committed to the UCLA Bruins, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett . Outhouse decommitted from Georgia on April 29 and now the cornerback finds himself as the newest member of the Bruins' 2027 recruiting class just a few days later. Outhouse was expected to be a strong addition for the Dawgs’ secondary prior to decommiting from Georgia.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart and his staff will now turn elsewhere in hopes of replacing the talented recruit. At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Outhouse drew interest from many teams around the nation when he reopened his recruitment earlier this week. The rising star could be an excellent fit in the Bruins’ secondary throughout his campaign in 2027.

Outhouse joins a surprisingly formidable UCLA recruiting class with 16 commitments. The Bruins have the No. 4 recruiting class in the nation with Outhouse being UCLA's third-highest ranked commitment.

Outhouse is ranked as the No. 14 cornerback and the No. 100 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings .
