Cameron Young's victory at Doral gives him PGA Tour money lead a third time
The PGA Tour had the first of three big-money events last week at Doral. How did it shake up the money list?
Cameron Young picked up another big payday and went to the top of the PGA Tour money list. Young's second victory of the season, at the Cadillac Championship at Doral on May 3, earned a $3. 6 million first-place check and he now has more than $11 million for the season.
Along with the $4. 5 million he earned for winning The Players Championship, Young has $8. 1 million from his two victories, more than 71 percent of his total earnings.
Scottie Scheffler , who posted his third consecutive runner-up finish, is second with more than $10. 5 million. He's earned $6.
