Nebraska misses out after top tight end Ahmad Hudson commits to LSU
Class of 2027 tight end Ahmad Hudson committed to the LSU Tigers on Sunday.
Nebraska recruiting target Ahmad Hudson committed to the LSU Tigers on Sunday afternoon . He is the top tight end in the class of 2027. Hudson is the 16th overall player in the 2027 class and the fourth overall player in his class from the state of Louisiana, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings .
Hudson made four visits to Lincoln over the past year. He was present when Nebraska took on the USC Trojans in November. The tight end is also set to visit Lincoln on June 12.
One has to wonder if he will still make the trip despite the commitment. However, the 2027 class is still strong. It ranks 15th overall nationally according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
This is a disappointing blow as Nebraska was firmly in on the prospect throughout his recruitment. The program will still probably push for him over the course of next year, and one has to wonder if it is truly over. .
