Eau Claire Memorial standout Norah Kling has made her decision. The multi-sport athlete plans to play basketball in college. The sophomore announced on social media that she has committed to UW-Green Bay at the NCAA Division I level.

She posted this on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday afternoon: "Committed!!!! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point! And thank you coach Kayla and the Green Bay coaching staff for believing in me!

" Kling, who also is an all-state soccer player, held three Division I offers in basketball prior to her sophomore season. Kling, a versatile 5-foot-10 guard, has been a two-year starter in basketball for the Old Abes. She helped lead Memorial to the sectional finals as a freshman.

Kling's sophomore season in basketball was cut short after she suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in her left knee in early February. She faces a 9-12 month recovery from the injury. Kling still earned all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors this past season in basketball.

She hopes to return to the court in December. Kling also excels in volleyball as a key member of the Old Abes.
