Timothy T. Ludwig-Imagn Images As the Boston Bruins begin their offseason, the front office has plenty of decisions to consider. One of those is whether or not to keep forward Viktor Arvidsson .

The Bruins acquired the 33-year-old Swedish winger on July 1, 2025, for the small price of a fifth-round pick. He made that investment well worth it, potting 25 goals along with 29 assists for 54 points on the season. He also had two goals in Round 1.

“I had so much fun, and it was a great year. And I’m happy to talk to Sweens (Don Sweeney) about coming back,” Arvidsson said on Sunday. “It’s just a lot of areas that need to be figured out with my family and stuff like that.

You got to think about that, too. Like I said, I had fun, and I really like it here, so I’m open to it. ” Arvidsson skated on the second line throughout the season, playing alongside Casey Mittelstadt and Pavel Zacha .
