Stroud and his future remains one of the biggest discussion points of the offseason. With the fifth-year option exercised by the Texans, the franchise now has two seasons to fully evaluate Stroud to see if he is worth paying what could be a market-setting contract. Whether he is or not is a big talking point, but we have also seen quarterbacks take less money when it comes time to get their new deal.
But what should the Texans' offer be for Stroud? One NFC executive offered up a number. "Offer him something like top 8-12 [QB] money," an NFC executive said via ESPN’s DJ Bien-Aime .
