Jesse Minter says Ravens QB room remains in flux after rookie minicamp
Ravens' Jesse Minter says the quarterback room is 'in flux' and the team is still finding the perfect number for the offseason.
Minter on QB Room: ‘That Could Be in Flux’ The quarterback room is still very much a work in progress. While the Ravens currently have multiple options behind Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, Jesse Minter made it clear that nothing is locked in as the offseason continues. When asked about carrying four quarterbacks, Minter emphasized that the number could change depending on how things unfold.
“I think that's a little bit in flux, I would say. We'll look at it coming out of this. I think there's a place for anywhere from three to five [quarterbacks], honestly, especially for the offseason, just to kind of make sure that we have everything covered, and we're getting guys different looks and kind of what we're looking for.
So I think that could be in flux, whether there's veterans out there that we may want to look at or even a couple other rookies, but I think that's a room you're always trying to just find that perfect number, and we'll continue to do that. ” Ultimately, the goal is to find the right balance—not just in numbers, but in fit, development, and competition. As the offseason progresses, the Ravens’ quarterback situation will remain one to watch, with flexibility and competition driving decisions as the team works toward finalizing its depth chart.
