President Donald Trump arrives at Doral for Cadillac Championship final round

Donald Trump's golf course is hosting the PGA Tour in Miami (you can't miss the gold statue by the first tee and the president himself pulled into the Cadillac Championship on Sunday as part of a visit to Florida. Trump arrived in his suite on the Blue Monster course at 12:15 p. m.

ET Sunday during the final round of the Cadillac Championship. Trump frequently visits his home at Mar-a-Lago, less than 80 miles north of Trump National Doral . He was in the Sunshine State to pitch his economic agenda at The Villages and also made an appearance in West Palm Beach on Friday.

It marked his first public appearance since the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington on April 25, where a man was arrested after law enforcement said he rushed the event with multiple weapons. The man, 31-year-old Cole Allen from California, was charged with attempting to assassinate the president . Golf is perhaps the biggest love in Trump's life, as he owns 16 courses and routinely plays just about every weekend.

Trump National Doral hosted LIV Golf's Miami tournament from 2022 to 2025 with Trump participating in some of the pro-am events. Trump attended the first day of the 2025 Ryder Cup , which the host United States lost. He calls golf legend Tiger Woods a close friend; Woods said he was calling the president after getting involved in a rollover car crash near his Jupiter Island home in March.
