It’s still pitch-black on a crisp Texas morning in April as Texas A&M football players sluggishly file into the Bright-Slocum Center on campus. The day after the Aggies’ second spring scrimmage — and just three days before the annual spring game — April 15 is a supposed “off day” with no practice scheduled.
But for an FBS quarterback coming off an appearance in the College Football Playoff, even an off day isn't an off day. At 6:20 a. m.
