Lindale Eagles edge Pine Tree Pirates 3-2 in Game 3 of bi-district baseball series
LINDALE, Texas (KETK) — The Lindale Eagles baseball team took a 3-2 lead in the top of the second and never looked back, beating the Pine Tree Pirates 3-2 in game three of the two teams’ 4A-D1 bi-district playoff series. Lindale went up 1-0 in the top of the first before Pine Tree plated two runs in the bottom of the first to take a 2-1 lead. Then, in the top of the second, the Eagles scored two more runs to go back in front 3-2 and Lindale never lost the lead after that.
With the Eagles’ 3-2 win over Pine Tree, Lindale advances to the 4A-D1 area round where the Eagles are set to play Sulphur Springs next week. Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
