Texas men's tennis beats SMU 4-0, moves on to NCAA Round of 16
Texas men's tennis got another comfortable win today, topping SMU 4-0. The Longhorns won a gritty doubles point, followed by dominating the singles.
The Texas Longhorns menโs tennis team continued marching in the NCAA Tournament today, getting a 4-0 win over the SMU Mustangs. The Longhorns cruised past Texas A&M-Corpus Cristi in Round 1, winning 4-0 with no hiccups and putting them into the second round for the 13th straight season. Today, it was a gritty doubles point and dominating single performances that led the Longhorns to the straightforward win.
And there it is!! The Horns are on to the Sweet 16 for the 1๏ธโฃ2๏ธโฃth-straight year with a 4๏ธโฃ-0๏ธโฃ sweep of #32 SMU! We'll be back at the TTC next Friday ๐ 15 seed #17 San Diego!
