Former Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner will end up taking up a career as a manager, according to his wife, Kourtney Turner. Justin Turner is currently playing professional baseball in Mexico , but at 40, his playing days are certainly coming to an end. He could end up returning to MLB if he impresses and a team has a need in the infield or as a designated hitter, though Turner is likely looking at a return to the majors as a coach or front-office figure.

His wife, Kourtney, has made it clear that Justin could indeed explore that possibility. Naturally, due to his help in the dugout, it does make sense that he would take on the skipper role. “I do. I think it will be more nerve-wracking than his playing days for me, though, because I think it’s a tough job,” Kortney Turner said on Foul Territory.

“Because if things are going well, not everyone looks to the manager. But then if there’s a decision that doesn’t pan out, I think it falls back on the manager. “So I’ll have to stay off Twitter and all the comments for that one.
